Burry LD, et al. – The association between psychoactive drugs and delirium was investigated in critically ill adults admitted to intensive care units (ICUs). As per findings, in the management of critically ill patients, the identification of psychoactive drugs as modifiable delirium risk factors plays a crucial role; this is specifically essential given the burden of exposure and combinations of drugs used in this vulnerable patient population.
