Defining the optimal method for reporting prostate cancer grade and tumor extent on MR/US fusion targeted biopsies

Gordetsky JB, et al. - Patients who underwent MR/ultrasound fusion targeted biopsy (TB) followed by radical prostatectomy (RP) were evaluated to determine an optimal method of reporting prostate cancer grade and tumor extent. The aggregate method demonstrated a better correlation with target lesion volume, lesional density, and extraprostatic extension for multiple cores obtained via TB.
