Bahl N, et al. - Authors intended to analyze whether decorin was stimulated by growth hormone (GH) and testosterone. A substantial rise was disclosed in the circulating decorin through the GH. Such an effect was discovered to be greater in men than in women. Testosterone did not exert an impact on decorin. Hence, it was deduced that GH positively regulated decorin in humans in a gender-dimorphic manner.
