Findings revealed that daily anxiety and depressive symptoms influence women's experience of vulvodynia-related pain, women's sexual function, and the couple's sexual distress. The efficacy of psychological interventions for vulvodynia could be intensified by targeting daily anxiety and depressive symptoms.
