Schwendicke F, et al. – Using a German private–payer–perspective, the aim of this study was to examine the costs of removing all, none or only those molars predicted to be at–risk for extraction during supportive periodontal therapy (SPT). Results of this study suggested that removing molars prior to SPT should be decided cautiously.
