Conditional analyses of recurrence and progression in patients with TaG1 non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer

Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations Mar 08, 2018

von Landenberg N, et al. - The conditional recurrence-free survival (RFS) and progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with TaG1 non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer were determined. Decision-making toward surveillance protocols and scheduling were improved and the evolution of predictors of disease recurrence over time was assessed. The risk profile of patients changed over time. With increasing survival, RFS rates increased, whereas PFS rates remained stable. It was noted that the effect of prognostic features decreased over time.
