Mehdizadeh M, et al. - Researchers here performed a comparison of the effect of dexamethasone and tranexamic acid, separately or in combination on post-rhinoplasty edema and ecchymosis. Findings suggested that tranexamic acid and dexamethasone, separately or in combination, were comparable in terms of reducing periorbital edema and ecchymosis in open rhinoplasty. Combined application proved to have no significant benefit in this regard.
