Wang IK, et al. - Researchers undertook a comparative analysis of the survival between incident hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients, with and without diabetes, in the era of icodextrin therapy. It was reported that icodextrin could attenuate the survival disadvantage for PD relative to HD in diabetic patients, especially for the elderly patients.
