International Journal of Surgery | Mar 27, 2018
Wu ZP, et al. - Given that navigated high tibial osteotomy (HTO) is a viable option for the treatment of varus malalignment and that accurate alignment correction cannot be achieved by conventional method, researchers perform this meta-analysis to investigate if navigation system is superior to conventional method with regard to clinical and radiographic outcomes. They recognized navigated HTO being superior in accuracy and in providing precision of alignment correction, except Weight bearing line ratio. However, there appeared no better clinical outcomes in navigation group.
