International Journal of COPD Sep 28, 2017
Fathima M, et al. - This study examined the feasibility and effectiveness of community pharmacy-based case finding for COPD. Findings reported that a substantial number of COPD cases may be detected and diagnosed via the implementation of a brief community pharmacy-based COPD case-finding service utilizing the Initial Screening Questionnaire [ISQ]), lung function test (LFT) and general practitioner (GP) referral. Furthermore, this strategy was feasible and most likely presents a vital step towards achieving a reduced COPD burden, particularly in rural locations.
