Zhang C, et al. - This study was performed to compare the outcome variables of combined pedicle screw fixation at the fracture vertebrae vs conventional method for thoracolumbar fractures. Researchers observed that combined pedicle screw fixation at the fracture veterbrae could be better despite more operation time and intraoperative hemorrhage when compared to traditional fixation cross the fracture level alone for thoracolumbar fractures.
