Clinical features of haematospermia associated with seminal vesicle calculi vs posterior urethral haemangioma

Andrologia Jun 28, 2018

Tian L, et al. - Experts compared the clinical features of seminal vesicle calculi (SVC) vs posterior urethral haemangioma (PUH) to evaluate urologists in differentiating and diagnosing the causes of haematospermia. Transurethral resection and fulguration were treated with PUH. A gradual disappearance of the postoperative follow-up symptoms was seen with no postoperative complications. Recurrent haematospermia could be caused by both SVC and PUH. Hence, haematospermia should be treated differently according to the cause.
