Olazagasti JM, et al. – This investigation entailed the characterization of the clinical characteristics, etiologic factors, associated disorders, and treatment of palmoplantar pustulosis (PPP). It was discovered that more than three–fourths of the patients presented with a history of smoking, which served as a triggering or aggravating factor for PPP. Regarding comorbid conditions, gluten sensitivity and thyroid disease were observed less frequently. A significant variation was noted in the therapeutic regimens and responses, during this study.
