Classifying apnea of prematurity by transcutaneous electromyography of the diaphragm

Neonatology Dec 04, 2017

Kraaijenga JV, et al. - This study was designed in order to comparatively evaluate the accuracy of apnea classification based on diaphragmatic EMG (dEMG) and chest impedance (CI) tracings in preterm infants. An improvement was reported in the accuracy of apnea classification through transcutaneous dEMG when compared to CI in preterm infants.
