Papademetriou V, et al. – This research was meant to compare the cardiovascular outcomes in subjects without to those with mild (Stages 1–2) and/or moderate chronic kidney disease (Stage 3). Investigations revealed that in high–risk patients with dysglycemia (pre–diabetes and early diabetes), mild and moderate chronic kidney disease significantly increased cardiovascular events.
