Moreira FP, et al. - Researchers sought to determine the impact of childhood trauma in cytokine serum levels of individuals with major depressive disorder (MDD). It was noted that presence of childhood maltreatment vs its absence may lead to higher inflammation dysregulation in individuals with depression.
