Chemotherapy-associated paronychia treated with 2% povidone–iodine: A series of cases

Capriotti K, et al. – This study gauged the efficacy of 2% povidone–iodine for the treatment of chemotherapy–associated paronychia. The data illustrated that the topical povidone–iodine/dimethylsufoxide solution was very effective in alleviating the signs and symptoms of paronychia related to chemotherapy. This combination necessitated additional analyses to further elucidate its clinical utility.
