Characteristics of computed tomography perfusion parameters in non-small-cell-lung-cancer and its relationship to histology, size, stage an treatment response

Lopez CT, et al. - This prospective study was conducted to examine computed tomography perfusion (CTP) parameters in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The authors found high variability in CTP parameters. Neuroendocrine tumours presented higher blood volume and permeability values. Depending on the stage, perfusion parameters did not differ. In addition, perfusion parameters did not predict response to treatment.
