Cause specific mortality in adults with atopic dermatitis

Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology Nov 07, 2017

Thyssen JP, et al. - This research was formulated in order to inspect the cause-specific death rates and risk in adults with atopic dermatitis (AD). A slightly increased risk of death was reported in the study cohort during the follow-up. Though the risk of death from cardiovascular, urogenital, and infectious diseases appeared to be slightly elevated among patients with AD, the absolute risk was determined as being very low.
