Catheter-related right internal jugular vein thrombosis after chest surgery

Chen PT, et al. – Researchers performed a prospective observational study to explore the risk factors related to catheter–related right internal jugular vein thrombosis in patients undergoing chest surgery. Findings indicated that earlier catheter removal may attenuate the risk of catheter–related thrombosis and abate possibly fatal complications following catheter–related thrombosis.
