Carpal tunnel syndrome assessment with diffusion tensor imaging: Value of fractional anisotropy and apparent diffusion coefficient

European Radiology Feb 19, 2018

Klauser AS, et al. - This research incorporated a quantitative evaluation of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) with diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) by investigating 2 approaches to identify the cut-off values. Substantial variations were brought to light between healthy subjects and patients via cross-sectional area (CSA) and fractional anisotropy (FA). Data exhibited that single measurement at maximum CSA was suitable for FA determination.
