British Journal of Dermatology Sep 20, 2018

Chen CT, et al. - In cancer patients, authors gauged the risk for subsequent bullous pemphigoid (BP). In these patients, the incidence of BP is not higher than in the controls, according to data obtained from the Taiwan National Health Insurance Database between 2000 and 2011. For BP, cancer is not a risk factor. Independent risk factors for BP are age, diabetes mellitus, and cerebrovascular disease.
