Journal of Clinical Oncology Mar 11, 2018

Ennis RD, et al. - Herein, survival was compared between radiotherapeutic and surgical options for patients with high-risk localized prostate cancer after comprehensively adjusting for imbalances in prostate cancer prognostic factors, other medical conditions, and socioeconomic factors. Findings showed no statistical difference in survival between patients treated with radical prostatectomy (RP) vs external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) plus brachytherapy with or without androgen deprivation (AD).
