Blunt cannula subcision is more effective than Nokor needle subcision for acne scars treatment

Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology Mar 16, 2018

Gheisari M, et al. - Authors compared the efficacy of nokor needle subcision (NNS) and blunt cannula subcision (BCS) for acne scars treatment based on patient's and doctor's satisfaction measures, in addition to the late complications 3 months postsubcision. For acne scar treatment, BCS was more efficient than NNS considering the complications (ecchymosis, nodule formation post-NNS, and edema after BCS) and satisfaction rates. BCS was suggested to be a good replacement for NNS.
