Pacheco G, et al. - The intent herein was to prepare and characterize the cosmetic masks on the basis of bacterial cellulose (BC) membranes and active cosmetics. BC exhibited good performance. The data illustrated the potential utility of BC as an alternative support for cosmetic actives for skin treatment.
