Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease transplant recipients after kidney transplantation: A single-center experience

Illesy L, et al. – This study was performed to assess the autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease transplant recipients after kidney transplantation. Results reported longer graft survival times in female patients than males. Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) implied multiple cystic degeneration of the kidneys. However, it appeared to cause structural degeneration in other organs. These patients typically had an acute abdominal–like syndrome.
