Head & Neck Jul 01, 2018

Wu C, et al. - Experts assessed the impacts of E-cadherin methylation on the occurrence and clinicopathological characteristics of nasopharyngeal cancer (NPC). They calculated the odds ratios (ORs) and the corresponding confidence intervals (CIs) summarized. Findings suggested a strong association of the E-cadherin methylation with the occurrence of NPC, and that it could serve as an effective biomarker for early detection of NPC. In NPC, the E-cadherin methylation was significantly higher vs those in normal groups.
