Assessment of temporally-related acute respiratory illness following influenza vaccination

Rikin S, et al. - Whether there is an increased rate of laboratory-confirmed acute respiratory illness (ARI) in post-influenza vaccination periods, was investigated herein. Comparison with unvaccinated children during the same period revealed an increased hazard of ARI caused by non-influenza respiratory pathogens post-influenza vaccination among children.
