Sagar R, et al. - This follow-up study was conducted to investigate the longitudinal pattern of changes in the cognitive functioning of bipolar I disorder patients. Relative to controls, the patient groups showed significant impairments in all or some test domains at all time-points. In all patient groups, the cognitive functions largely remained stable, with a slight improvement over time in a few tests.
