Application of next-generation sequencing to characterize novel mutations in clarithromycin-susceptible Helicobacter pylori strains with A2143G of 23S rRNA gene
Annals of Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobials Apr 05, 2018
Chen J, et al. - The mutations of Clarithromycin (CLR)-resistant and -susceptible Helicobacter pylori strains were characterized to explore bacterial resistance. The data of sequencing suggested that for identifying genome variations, the next-generation sequencing of clinical isolated H. pylori is a useful method. As per the analysis of multidrug efflux transporter gene mutation results, membrane proteins of resistance-nodulation-cell division (RND) family seemed to play an indispensable role in resistance to CLR.
