Antimalarial drug toxicities in patients with cutaneous lupus and dermatomyositis: A retrospective cohort study

Mittal L, et al. - This research probed into the toxicity risk related to antimalarials in patients with cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) and dermatomyositis (DM). There was no substantial variation in the risks of other toxicities connected with quinacrine monotherapy or combinational treatment than with hydroxychloroquine. The exception of this fact was retinopathy, which was not seen with quinacrine.
