Antihistamine use and the risk of injurious falls or fracture in elderly patients: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Osteoporosis International Jul 29, 2018

Cho H, et al. - Experts ascertained whether or not elderly patients taking antihistamines were at increased risk of injurious falls or fracture. Studies in MEDLINE, EMBASE, and several local databases were identified through November 2016. Researchers urged caution when prescribing first-generation antihistamines to elderly patients.
