Freire JCP, et al. - The antifungal activity of citral, selected by screening natural products, against Candida albicans isolates from subjects who use dental prostheses was examined. The authors unveiled the potential of citral as a fungicidal agent. Moreover, they underscored the resistance of clinical strains of C. albicans to nystatin.
