Antidepressants and incident hypertension in primary care patients

Breeden M, et al. - Researchers examined the existence of an association between the use of antidepressant medication (ADMs) with the subsequent development of hypertension. No association was found between commonly used ADMs with incident hypertension after controlling for other factors associated with ADM use and hypertension.
