Antibiotic resistance and the risk of recurrent bacteremia

Woudt SHS, et al. - In this work, the risk of recurrent bacteremia associated with antibiotic resistance was examined. Despite consistent higher risks of recurrent bacteremia with antibiotic non-susceptibility, the estimated number of additional recurrent episodes in the Netherlands (40 per year) was rather limited.
