Parameswari A, et al. - This study involved assessment of the efficacy of dexamethasone added to bupivacaine for caudal block in children. Findings demonstrated that in children undergoing subumbilical surgeries, an increased duration of analgesia of caudal bupivacaine was achieved, without any side effects, as a result of adding 0.1 mg/kg of dexamethasone to caudal bupivacaine.
