An implantable pump Lenus Pro in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension with intravenous treprostinil

Kurzyna M, et al. - This retrospective, multi-center study including pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) patients who received treatment with intravenous treprostinil administered by means of the Lenus Pro implantable pump, reports on the feasibility of this mode of treatment in this group of patients. It was demonstrated in this work that with acceptable safety profile, the Lenus Pro implantable pump, when used in PAH patients who did not tolerate subcutaneous infusion of treprostinil, afforded significant subjective improvement of vitality and physical aspect of the heart related quality of life.
