Age-related prevalence of chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps and their relationships with asthma onset

Won HK, et al. - In this study, the links between chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) with nasal polyps [(CRSwNP)] and asthma characteristics were investigated. Distinct age-related patterns of CRSwNP and asthma were found. Their significant associations in a general population were also reported. However, low prevalence of asthma in CRSwNP was in sharp contrast to the findings in Western populations.
