da Silva AM, et al. - Researchers, in this cross-sectional study, aim to determine the age-dependent cognitive dysfunction in untreated hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis. Findings reveal that in older hereditary transthyretin (TTR) amyloidosis patients with peripheral polyneuropathy, cognitive dysfunction is part of the broad spectrum of clinical manifestations, even in the early stages of the disease.
