Pagonas N, et al. - This trial compared the impacts of isometric handgrip training versus aerobic exercise in hypertensive patients. Findings revealed no blood pressure (BP) reduction subsequent to isometric handgrip training, performed according to a typical protocol, whereas, aerobic exercise resulted in significant reduction of ambulatory and office BP despite being an uncontrolled and unsupervised exercise regimen.
