Bart Y, Mohr-Sasson A, Yousefi S, et al. - Via performing this retrospective cohort study of non-pregnant patients operated for adnexal torsion, researchers herein examined if the adnexal twist degree is linked to torsion recurrence and if there is a dose-dependent correlation. Among 182 women undergoing laparoscopic detorsion, torsion recurrence occurred in 22 (12.1%). Findings revealed a positive correlation between adnexal twist degree and the risk of torsion recurrence.
