Journal of the Neurological Sciences Jul 28, 2021

Unterberger A, Ng E, Pradhan A, et al. - Researchers conducted the study for analyzing the progression-free survival benefits of adjuvant radiotherapy (ART) following surgical resection compared to surgery alone in high-grade meningioma patients. Between February 2007 and March 2019, 43 patients with atypical meningiomas were identified and treated at the institution with either radiotherapy post-surgical resection (Surgery+ART) or surgery alone (Surgery alone). When compared with surgery alone, those who received adjuvant radiotherapy after surgery had a significantly longer PFS.
