Reineke S, et al. - This study was planned to assess the impact of adding vancomycin to perioperative prophylaxis on sternal wound infections (SWIs) in high-risk cardiac surgery patients. observations revealed a significant reduction in deep SWI with adjunctive vancomycin in high-risk patients.
