It was considered that endovascular physicians exhibited a greater predilection for catheter–directed thrombolysis to treat acute submassive PE compared with their medical colleagues. Endovascular and medical physicians seemed to more frequently choose catheter–directed thrombolysis than systemic thrombolysis.
