Beaubien-Souligny W, et al. - Researchers here sought to assess whether a simplified method of extravascular lung water assessment using ultrasound provided clinically relevant information in patients with end-stage chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis. In this work, a simplified pulmonary assessment using ultrasound gave significant information about pulmonary congestion in hemodialysis patients and distinguished patients at risk of hospitalization for heart-related problems.
