A retrospective nested cohort study of Emergency Department revisits for migraine in New York City

Headache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain Nov 06, 2017

Minen MT, et al. - This analysis was undertaken to assess the frequency of headache revisits among patients who present to an Emergency Department (ED) for management of migraine and sociodemographic factors associated with the revisit. Headache revisits were reported within 6 months among more than a quarter of initial ED visits for migraine. They recommended targeting interventions to decrease the frequency of headache revisits in future work.
