Menopause Aug 01, 2018
Cao XJ, et al. - The treatment effectiveness of Chinese herbal medicine capsules containing the Yangyin Shugan formula (YYSG) in premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) was investigated via performing this stratified, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial including 146 women with POI. Treatment was administered to participants in two groups (n = 73 in each)—the YYSG group and control group— for 12 weeks. Compared to placebo, YYSG treatment was more effective in improving menopausal symptoms, basal hormone levels, and ovarian function in women with POI in Guangdong, China.
