Zhang M, et al. - The researchers extensively evaluated adjunct ketamine anesthesia in electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) for both major depressive disorder (MDD) and bipolar disorder (BP). In the ECT treatment of MDD and BP, ketamine plus propofol anesthesia was not superior on any measure to propofol alone.
