Cui J, et al. - Authors analyzed the clinical efficacy of intravenous IgM-enriched immunoglobulin (IVIgGM) in subjects with sepsis and septic shock in this meta-analysis. They observed a decline in mortality risk in septic patients with the use of IVIgGM. They also recorded that the use of IVIgGM decreased the length of mechanical ventilation (mean difference − 3.16 days) but it did not reduce the length of stay in intensive care unit (mean difference − 0.38 days).
