Association between polycystic ovary syndrome and cancer risk

Yin W, et al. - As inconsistent results have been reported for the association between polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and ovarian and breast cancer risks, researchers conducted a large population-based cohort study with a long follow- up period and sufficient confounding adjustment. Fewer studies have dealt with the risks of other cancers. Few studies had adequate sample sizes, well-defined diagnostic criteria or reasonable confounding adjustments.
